Having a pair of neatly manicured eyebrows can help you have a more polished look and bring out the sparkle in your eyes. Getting perfect brows, however, can be a little tricky. If you are just starting to think about brow shaping, this guide is for you. You are going to need a warm washcloth, a pair of good-gripping tweezers, a mirror and a bit of courage.
Start by warming the skin of your eyebrows with the warm washcloth. That will relax the pores, making it easier to pull out those stray hairs. Next, identify the stray hairs above the brow line. Pluck out only the ones that stray from the main brow. Next draw a line from the side of your nose up to the corner of your eye. As that line continues on, it should touch the inner point of your eyebrow. If your brow goes over that line, you may want to trim it back a bit. On the outer edge of your brow, you want to have a line from the side of your nose to the outer corner of your eye. It sometimes helps to take a pencil and place it on a diagonal line running from your nose to the corner of your eye. Does your brow end at the pencil? If not, you may want to trim it up a bit.
If you find that you will need to do more than just pluck a few hairs, you may find it helpful to have your brows professionally shaped the first time. It will be easier to do touch ups on your own.
