Almost every man of good repute (as quaint as that term sounds!) understands the importance of wearing good business suits. After all, almost most of the one’s public life revolves around what one does and who one hangs out with and this involves portraying an image that goes along with the kind of people you gravitate to at work and at play.
Take for example, the three button suit, which has been more of a British thing as compared to its American counterpart that we look at shortly. This is considered as the standard suit that all men must have in their wardrobe and in some ways works well for men of different (and less flattering!) sizes.
Apart from the right and wrong way to wearing one of these suits which can turn out to be total style faux pas at an upscale party or other momentous gathering, one must be careful to replace these suits every five years, as they tend to go out fashion by then. This suit works well for men who are taller than most.
The two button suit, as mentioned before, is the American version of the suit that is considered as one of those ‘classic’ suits that every man must have as a part of their wardrobe. Both these suits are actually categorized as single-breasted suits which consist of only two to three buttons while the double-breasted suit consists of six buttons of which three have to be closed.
One way or another, there’s nothing worse than an ill-fitting suit, so one must be very careful before making a choice.
